Plan your visit around it
For a visit near the end of the proposed window, ask accommodation and transport providers to confirm that their services are operating for your full stay. Do not rely on a festival-wide date as proof that a particular facility remains available.

What still needs checking
Look for the final closing programme and any notices on service withdrawal, transport operations or access changes. Plan the departure transfer with current local information.

- Reporting times, designated locations and public access rules.

- What your group will do if a planned activity is no longer manageable.
Leave room for a different pace
If your purpose is the city’s temples rather than the festival programme, plan a separate Ujjain visit under ordinary temple rules after checking current service availability.
A place in the calendar does not tell you how a day will feel on the ground. Take account of the needs of children, older relatives and anyone who needs a shorter outing.
